Tried to call o2 customer service number and i'm keep getting info that they are closed today.... despite that the posts are saying they are open from 09:00. I'm abroad and can't use my phone - been trying to resolve this since 20/12/2021 !!!!!!! o2 was unable to provide resolution before xmas and now i can't get through

Customer Service is open today, @Sajmon339 - have you tried to get through to them via Facebook or Twitter on Social Media? Might be cheaper, if you have a working Internet connection. Links are just below this post, beneath the 2 blue O2 Community images.

Hi @Sajmon339 

If you can't use your phone, there's a few things to try...

  1. Manually search for another network
  2. Reboot the phone
  3. If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
  4. If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account

. If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

nope-got answer from o2 via messanger but they are still just collecting informations. Takes them 30-60 min to read and reply to a message. Terrible tbh - never had issues like that with other providers
