Card payment for device plan failingq

I'm trying to pay off what remains of my device plan so that I can upgrade but every time, whether over the phone with O2 directly or online it fails to process the upfront payment. I've tried multiple cards with different banks and it always fails to process. I'm wondering whether it's something wrong with my O2 account in general, has anyone else had this issue?

I'd try in store where they can process your payment through the till.

@Silk If you haven't done so already, speak to the Payment Management Team on 0800 902 0217.

The opening times are:

Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm

Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

The settlement figure will be added to your next bill.

I've just done this so know it is possible.

Yes, they have been unable to help and advised I speak to my bank. The bank has then said it has nothing to do with them, the payment request isn't even getting through to them.
