Hi All

Looking for some help as unsure what to try next

I have been unable to send text message since I received my o2 SIM

I have an IPhone12 pro which i used previously with vodafone.

I have been in contact with o2 , who just sent me a new Sim, which did not resolve the issue.

I have seen guides on the forum re checking and changing message centre , though there is no specific place in iOS setting as far as i can tell to change this. However i have tried dialling **5005*7672*# to reveal what current number is set to but I receive error performing request, unknown error. i also tried the same method to set to current numbers **5005*7672*SMSCNUMBER#, but again i get the same error.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Adam

@Adam_S

Message centre number is set from the sim / carrier profile.

Try a reset of your network settings first.

Also a guide here Guide: Text Message Tips (not sent or received)

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
