Hi. I keep on getting texts from O2UK which doesn't accept replies. It is a service status message and I never subscribed to these. They are definitely legit as the sender doesn't support replies. The issue is there is no option to stop these or opt out. I've blocked and spammed the sender but it's ridiculous O2 are doing this!  Can anyone help? I'm not even an O2 customer

Example HERE =

O2 Network Update: REMOVED THIS BIT

Good news. Our network is working well.

We've fixed an issue in this area. We'll continue to keep a close eye on the network to make sure everything's working as it should.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm not a customer so don't have an account. That's why I'm confused. Someone has accidentally added my number to their alert but there is no way to stop the texts
