Can’t send text pay as you go

Hi, 

My Dad has an old Nokia and we’ve just swapped to an O2 pay as you go sim. He can receive text but can’t send them?

You need to check the SMS Message Centre is correct on the phone +447802092035

Do you have allowances showing in your MyO2 https://mymobile.o2.co.uk/ ?

Yes the top up is showing on app £10 on the sim

If it's showing credit rather than allowances the bundle isn't activated yet.

Try rebooting the phone and check again tomorrow.

It should show that you have unlimited calls and texts and 20gb of data, not a monetary value.
