This has been happening for 24 hours. My whats app and facetime are working fine, no issue. I have reset the network connections etc and no change. I can recieve texts no problem. It is just the ability to hear or be heard. Not sure where to go from here?

Try removing your sim amd cleaning it as sometimes static can build up causing issues.
