Hi there,

I have been contacted about 6 times in the past few days by different numbers asking for payment. Originally there was issues with my direct debit and the payment came out of my bank account and then was refunded? the refund wasn't prompted or asked for so that was the first issue. I was then contacted by email saying my payment was overdue. To rectify this I made a payment online. After this I've been contacted twice by call asking me to make a payment even though my account should be paid? Very hesitant to make any sort of payment over the phone. Is this correct?

@jolene123 Calls asking for payment may be a scam. Do not give anyone credit card details or account information from a cold call. You need to speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your mobile or 0800 032 1402 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
