Bringing old number from different provider

Seems my first message went astray! Just joined O2 I was given stac instead pac number (not know difference until replied not taking old number) I now have pac number, and I am waiting the sim. Trying to change to old number just sends me on a loop- go to O2 account- no info on account, tried FAQ no help. Must I now wait for sim? No one available except emergency, I want my old number! Please!

This is the link to the o2 online form, you just fill out the boxes and wait. A PAC code is valid for a few weeks so hopefully the details get processed before the time runs out. i have tried to contact o2 also - to no avail.

.. and you will need the sim card, there is a box on the form where you have to enter the sim number - so keep the card the sim comes in as the numbers are easier to read than the numbers on the sim. good luck
