I have an old Boostbox connected to my router. I suspect it has been there for years. I recently upgraded to Fibre Optic (including upgrading my router) and BT has transferred me to VOIP, cancelling my landline.
What, if any, function is this old Boostbox performing ?

And on a more serious note:

A deprecated product also - so possibly of little value. Pretty sure these were only available on O2 Business years ago, and there are models on a well-known auction site going for £25 a pop. If your signal from O2 as measured bu the O2 My Network app is good, then probably safe to remove if nothing is still relying on it.
