Solved: Apple Watch - Switch link to a different o2 number

I'm looking at getting an Apple Watch for my son on my O2 account for his birthday. He has a separate o2 account and I don't want to order it on this because I don't want him to know that he's getting it. Is it possible to swap the eSIM to his o2 number/account once it has been delivered?

O2 will only do that if you pay off the watch fully.

You'd be best to buy direct from Apple. They do credit too if needed.
