I’m trying to update an app through the app store, however it won’t let me log in with my Apple ID details. Can someone help with this?

Sounds like you need to be contacting Apple as o2 have nothing to do with the app store (apart from their own apps) @RLW
Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
