Accessing 02 Priority when I have a Pocket hotspot device

I have an 02 pocket hotspot that has a mobile number assigned to it.  When I try to access 02 priority it asks for the number and then sends a message to the number with the access code, but as the number is only associated to the pocket hotspot I have no access to the messages.  How can I log in to 02 Priority?

Temporarily put the sim in a phone to receive the activation code.

You can then access priority online https://priority.o2.co.uk/
