Last week, I ordered a phone and after multiple attempts the order successfully went through. However, 30 mins later I received an email saying the phone is out of stock. However, the website states that it is still in stock. Fast forward almost a week later, it still has not yet been dispatched. I called my local stores ad asked if I can collect it using my order number but they said thats not possible. What should I do because I need this phone as soon as possible.

@Meraaj O2 doesn't operate a live stock reporting system so your phone being out of stock is a very common complaint seen here in the community. If you ordered the phone online you cannot pick up in store.

You need to speak to customer service to discuss your options.
Call 0344 809 0202 or 0800 902 0217 from any phone or numbers here: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
