When paying your bill early you need to leave at least 6 working days before the direct debit date @coogan90

The money will stay as a credit on your account and be put towards or pay for your next bill

You can call and request the credit be paid into the account associated with your mobile number but it can take up to two weeks to be returned.

@coogan90

It will always happen if there isn't enough time between you paying and the direct debit being called from your bank.

Best thing to do is leave the payment as a credit on your account to cover your bill next month.

Getting a refund could take longer than when your next bill is due.
