I have an iPhone XR on contract and the screen is smashed. It’s got a few black spots covering the screen and little lines running through it like it’s bleeding colours. I’m unsure if I have insurance on this phone

You will be paying extra for insurance if you have it and it will show as a bolt on in your MyO2.

O2 insurance help here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/digital-services/o2-insurance

If no insurance, you'll need to get it repaired yourself.
