how can o2 increase prices by 8.8% mid contract, twice the rate of inflation? Customers who can switch can't avoid next increase as contracts are 18 or 24 months.

Because that is the way it works, and if you dont like it pay up and move to another network... as this has been discussed ad infinitum... and when you move let me know what happens on contracts, hint it will be the same
