I am on giffgaff not on o2

I want a SIM only PAYG for my iPad

On giffgaff it's 20p per MB with no bag/bundle (after 20MB used up)

I can see the bundles/addons cost on the o2 website e.g. £5 for 300MB but not the cost per MB once the allowance expires/is used up.

You are better off with the ultimate surfer plan and just top up £15 a month for 2gb of data or £25 for 8gb

I only use a tiny amount of iPad data as I am mainly on WiFi

But I have the very occasional need for large amounts of data

My thinking is to use the Light Surfer without an allowance, paying x-pence per MB and then buy 300MB at £3 if and when I needed it

But not if x=£3 !

It's 10p per MB on Tesco but they say they can't guarantee their SIM will work in an iPad

Unfortunately they are designed to get you to use data regularly so penalise low users.
What about a £7.50/1gb gigabag on giffgaff or a £5 one for 500mb?
