I'm unable to call or receive calls when trying to communicate with someone regards to this you sent round with the webpage back and forth and when I was able to get a chat to support low and behold no response or acknowledgement for over 45minutes I recently paid up my previous contract off and upgraded to a new contract

The first day I had texts calls and data the next day nothing but data I assumed network errors but had no issues with masts or connectivity so why has this happened?

Sorry to hear of your troubles, @contract5.

A couple of docs to help, first off check your SIM works in another phone, if you can - your SIM may need a clean.

Check your MyO2 to see if the upgrade is complete.

Guide: How-to guide for My O2

Sounds like you have been through this guide: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Lastly, numbers for O2 here to talk to someone, you can use Skype for the 0800 number: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support - it is possible your new phone has been shipped with a call bar on it, which O2 need to remove. Call around 08:15, keep trying until you get on the queue with the music.

Good luck.
