Use it to upgrade to a contract or just stop topping up and use the credit for bundles each month or just for making calls etc.

I remember being at the Tesco customer service counter not long ago and the woman in front was having problems with her phone and when the advisor helped her to call Tesco Mobile she had to confirm her balance........it was over £300 (about £320 I think).  The woman said she just tops up the same amount every month even if she hasn't used it.
