Hallo, I would like to send a message to LBC : 84850,  I get notification saying:

"Messages would like to send a message to 84850.  This will cause changes on your mobile account"

Then options Send or Cancel.

Same happens when I try to send a message to Amnesty International to support one of their causes: no 70505

How much do these numbers cost to message?

Thanks for your help

@cinch

Charges are set by the service provider, not network, so you shoild check with the provider, ie LBC.

You can check provider details here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/other-numbers-and-charges

or here https://psauthority.org.uk/for-consumers/service-checker/check-a-number-results

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thanks for your reply.

Strange, I called LBC and was told:

It depends on your service provider, contact them, ie O2

You were right, on LBC site it states:

Standard network charge normally no more then 12p unless stated otherwise.

For some reason the person on LBC that I contacted couldn't tell me this.
