That's right, you would have to pay £29 and £32 for your first month plus an amount for the few days before your contract start date, which is a few days after you take out the deal.

On this deal, once the phone part is paid for in full, you can drop to paying for the line rental only or upgrade to a new contract, which you can do by paying for the phone early.

I hope that has been of help to you.

Have a look at the 5C for use on O2 here in the online shop, they're not sold sim free for use on other networks yet, you would have to buy from Apple for a sim free version.

Then choose the tariff you want, then choose how much you want to pay monthly for the phone.

The cheapest deal on O2 Refresh for airtime is 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 750 Mb data for £12 a month.

The cheapest deal for the phone is £29 upfront deposit and £20 a month for two years, making a total of £32 a month for two years.

You get a sim card with it free.

You can do it yourself here:

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/phones/apple/iphone-5c-16gb-blue/

My example is for a 3G tariff, 4G tariffs are more expensive.

You would of course have to pass a credit check for a contract account.
