O2 simply pass on charges from Apple. They cannot cancel them.
Anybody else in your family that might of signed up?
You could ask O2 to remove charge to mobile, but this needs tracking down with Apple

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
