I am trying to cancel my contract with O2. I have been on the phone waiting for it to be answered 4 times with hanging on times nearly 1 hour, this is costing me having to use my other mobile phone as the O2 phone sim card appears to be blocked or not working. I have tried the O2 shop, but the answer I get from them is they are not allowed to cancel contracts and I have to phone O2. I have cancelled my direct debit with the bank to O2 as I have already paid for December, when the phone did not work, and now they want paying for January. They must be contactable without this farce.

Any help and advise gratefully received TIA

Cancelling the DIrect Debit was not a clever idea as o2 will hound you for payment and if not then you they will go down the debt collector route and put a default on your credit file.
