Would I be able to cancel the Airtime part of my contract while keeping my Device contract?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently with O2 on a Pay Monthly contract. My contract ends in February and I was thinking of upgrading - however, I am originally an EU national, and with the current situation, I may end up moving back home. In a situation like this, if I got a new Pay Monthly contract in February, would it, in the future, be possible to keep paying off my device while cancelling the Airtime part of the bill, as they are separate?
Would there be any difference in this if I upgraded with O2 Refresh now instead of waiting until February, or not?

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately not.

You must pay off the device plan to be able to cancel the airtime.

Guide: How does O2 Refresh work?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
