I've just switched to o2 specifically for wi-fi calling as we live in the country and get very spotty reception.
All set up and (probably) working, but when I call myself at home to test, it sometimes works and sometimes goes immediately to voicemail. When this happens I don't even get a missed call alert, just some text sent to me instead.
Presumably the wi-fi calling is either not working, intermittent or not very good... I'm sat at my desk next to my router with a solid 70mbps, it should be able to handle a call
Anything I can check or test? Thanks

You need to contact O2 on 202.
All other numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

Ironically of course I got cut off because my signal is bad.

You can use Skype to call over your wifi @AGB24

Well, they suggested I reset network settings and wait 24 hours.
Guess I'll wait and see.
Re Skype, sure, there are plenty of data calling options but I need to receive too in place of a landline. The only reason I switched carriers was for wi-fi calling.

I meant Skype to call O2 as you said you got cut off @AGB24
Did they check you had iData and wifi calling enabled as restting network settings won't help otherwise?
It's just too difficult these days to get customer service to do even the most basic of checks........

Ah I see...! Well, I got cut off just before getting through the first time, and just as the guy was about to give me his answer (after several consults with colleagues) the second time... but he texted/voicemailed me.
He confirmed I had wi-fi calling enabled, never mentioned iData. TBH, he was very polite and trying hard but certainly wasn't familiar with this stuff. I'm assuming his colleagues were.

Well, nothing happened over the 24 hours, but about 60 hours later 'Wi-Fi Calling' popped up on my phone and stayed in the status bar. Very exciting.
Sadly, it disappeared about 30 seconds later and never came back...
