Has anyone managed Wifi Calling on an Asus Padfone S? Sadly miss TuGo as local signal rubbish and just wondered if Wifi Calling is likely to be enabled beyond the select few phones. Anyone know a substitute app?

Your phone isn't supported so won't work I'm afraid.
Only Three UK have a similar app to tugo, http://www.three.co.uk/discover/three_intouch so that would require you to move networks.
We only know what O2 update here regarding supported devices, so wouldn't know what's coming either https://www.o2.co.uk/connectivity/wifi-and-4g-calling

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Ending Tugo was a huge mistake.
I think O2 assumed everyone would take a new contract for a flagship phone!

I agree with you MI5, though to an extent I only see their point if TuGo was mis-designed and their Wifi call charges ended up below cost (technically above my brief I'm afraid). Otherwise someone should have realised it is cheaper, easier and more likely for punters like me in poor reception areas to change a Sim rather than a phone. Anyway I am one of those who have been with O2 so long, and I have to say been very satisfied with their service, (this forum being a good example thanks to you guys) that I'm giving them time to resolve this before moving.

@PadfoneS Don't hold your breath waiting for this issue to be resolved quickly, if at all. I'm a little puzzled as to why you say you've been satisfied with your service if your local signal is, as you say, rubbish?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hello Bambino. I should have mentioned I'm surrounded by mountains, so reception is very variable and just happens to be particularly poor in the dip where I live.
