You need to cancel the old contract Guide: Cancelling Your Contract 

If you want to keep your number Guide: Migration & porting into O2

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
