Hey everyone!
I have pre ordered the iPhone 16 pro max on switch up on release day with an expected delivery date for the 20th. However I have received a email and text message saying it could be delayed up to 1week. But delivery date has stayed the same, anyone know when I could expect it?
secondly- when do I have to hand my phone back? Would it be upon collection of the 16 or would I have a few days / a postage box/bag to send it back in my own time once I have set the new phone up?
it’s just I use my phone for work and could do with not being without it for the day. Thanks!

If collecting in store you hand over your phone then.
If it's being delivered, you get sent a jiffy bag to return it later.

@Bradleyle- Pre ordering when on switch up and click and collect has now changed. You send off your current phone after collecting your new one. You should receive a label and Jiffy bag

The only official statement received from O2 is as follows:
Q. Can I use O2 Switch Up on the new iPhone?
A. O2 Switch Up is available from pre-order online and in store. Customers who order online will need to send their old phone back when they receive their new phone. Customers who visit a retail store will be asked for their old phone when they collect their new iPhone. More info about O2 Switch Up 👉 www.o2.co.uk/o2-switch-up
