What upgrade options do 02 give there customers at end of contract

Hi all

Just wondering

What upgrade options do o2 have in place for their customers at end of contract.

I am about to come to the end of my 24 month contract and I am will be looking to upgrade my Nokia N8, I was thinking of going for the Samsung Galexy S3 and have looked around in the usual high street suppliers and can get a good deal with a free phone, but do 02 offer any sort of viable upgrade option to keep me as a customer for another 24 months.

Thanks

Only what's on the website I'm afraid. No special deals and the same prices for new or upgrading customers. Best bet is to shop around and go with the best coverage, price and tariff to suit your needs.

Remember if UPGRADING u can use any shop that supplies O2.

So if u went into cpw or P4U u would still remain an O2 customer.

Check our website but also look around places that also do O2 contracts

Thanks for the replies.

if I go to CPW for my new phone do I have to actually cancel my existing contract or is that something that automatically happens at the end of 24 months.

thanks

If u upgrade via any store, u start a new 24 month contract.

So any tariffs u choose will be fixed for a new 24 .month contract.

If ur happy to wait and u like what you have at the moment. Do nothing until u see a deal u really like. Then obviously u sign up to a.new 24 months

Ok thanks

So do I need to cancel the contract at the end of the 24 month period or does it automatically cancel.  I assume they will just try to keep it running but just wanted to check.

Anyone got the e.mail address for O2. Cancellations.

thanks

The CONTRACT ends at month 24. Should u decide to leave things alone. Then it will continue as before, but u r free to leave at.anytime (giving 1 month notice).

Should u at month 24 decide to go for another deal, then it will be a new contract

No, your "minimum term" will end, your contract will then continue on a monthly basis unless you choose to ugrade with O2.

This will cancel your old contract and start a new one with the same number and account.

Thanks

anyone got the address of the cancellations department, the link on O2's web page just pings pack to the previous page without giving any contact details, kiss that their way of keeping customers, by not disclosing the cancelation details.

thanks
