What is wrong with this joke of a network?

So there was an issue with payments which finally got sorted but in the interim, my services got barred.

Quick to start demanding and barring services, but payment has since been rectified, and still no services which was told would automatically reactivate itself.

I ring and input details, ivr system barks on about an overdue balance of £0.00 and I need to make payment to get bar lifted.

Now I'm no mathematical whizz here, but surely in this modern day and age a system can be integrated to understand £0.00 means nil, zilch, nadda to pay?

I haven't got time to be ringing on my breaks and lunch at work to be held in a queue wasting my existence, which I already have 6 times in the last 2 days, for something that  is surely so simple.

Absolute joke.

Rant over.

How in the heck do I get this resolved without having to waste more time on the phone?

How long since you paid?

It's usually 48 hours after payment for it to trigger reactivation.

If longer than that and rebooting your phone hasn't helped, you can message O2 to social media to look into it for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
