Vat added to monthly bill

I recently did an upgrade of phone and tarrif through a 3rd party, prices shown inc vat, i have just recieved my first bill fom o2 and vat has been added to the orginal cost that was supposed to be vat inc. No where have i found on any communication from the 3rd party or o2 during the purchase proceedure that vat as to be added to the advertised price....can anyone shed light on this ..tia

Hi there,

Unfortunately you'll need to contact the company you bought the plan from to discuss this. All consumer contracts are inclusive of VAT, and business plans are typically advertised without the VAT and added to your bill after.
