Solved: Using phone abroad

I am travelling to Greece can I use my phone as part of my monthly contract. If so do I need to inform O2 to activate my phone to use in Greece ?

It should work without any problems and you can use your allowances whilst on a Greek network. Just be careful not to stray onto a Turkish network which could be a problem in some parts of the island.
