Hi

I am off to South Africa in a months time and wanted to know if a third party esim was a good idea
Dont really want to pay £6 per day and I can get a 2GB esim for about £15
Not really sure how they work and do I end with a new number or can I still use my number for calls and text and the third party esim just works for data

Thanks

You can choose which sim you want to use for calls, texts or data and the esim will come with a new number from the SA provider.

NB. You can receive calls and texts on your UK number but making calls or sending texts will invoke the daily charge.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
