Upgrading my phone

Hi there! I have upgraded my phone and have paid off my previous phone which I’m keeping for myself,I am giving my upgraded phone to my daughter for Xmas,it has come with a new sim so do o need to get a new sim for my old phone now or can I keep my original one? I’m not sure how it works,many thanks

As you say you are keeping your existing handset and the upgrade is for your daughter then unless your sim is broken keep using that.

Your contract stays with the SIM so you must keep using your original SIM in your original phone..
Your daughter must use her original SIM in the new phone unless she is changing her contract.
