Upgraded my contract

I upgraded my contract a couple of days ago, my new sim has come in the post today. I have put it in my phone, I cannot get any signal, make any calls and send/ recieve texts. What is going on?

Okay thanks, I spoke to someone on that instant chat and they said that they would activate it for me. If people text/ ring that number, will is come up on my old SIM ?

You old sim will still be active for a while. It will turn off at some point which means the change is going through. Once this happens keep rebooting your new phone until it connects. The transfer will then be complete.

The process can take up to 24 hours, and sometimes slightly longer, so be patient.
