Upgrade: Delayed delivery

I was wondering if anyone had experienced this or had any advice. I placed an upgrade order on Wednesday for anew phone with a 24 hour delivery window. It is now Saturday and the phone has not been delivered. The current order status says Order Confirmed. I contacted O2 via the messaging application. They just tell me the order is being processed and to wait. I just want to know what the hold up is... I just checked the phone and still says 24 hour delivery. They have offered me 2 lots of £10 so far for the inconvenience (which i thought was a bit of an insult really) but it just seems odd that they can't either resolve it or tell me what the problem is!

Has anyone else had this problem?

Many people have had this problem as the phone is probably out of stock (Despite what it says in the shop)

O2 do NOT have a live ordering system so they advertise phones which are out of stock.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255.
