Unreasonable Contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi I am writing to complain about my contract I get 900 mins unlimited texts and a 500MB Internet bolt on totalling £42, this is for an iPhone4 8GB. For this price other companies do so much better, eg three do 1000Mins 5000 Texts and unlimited Internet for £40. Even ,y iPhone 5 contract is better than this for the same price from Vodafone. Is there anyway mine can be made to be more reasonable? I understand it's a older contract but my Vodafone contract from two years ago wad an iPhone 4 16GB and had better mind and net than this for £40.

How can you complain about a contract after you have taken it out?

What do you expect to happen?

A change in price or an upgrade to what i get. I have been able to do this with other providers i would hope o2 would be the same. If i cant atleast try than whats the point in customer service to begin with? If i feel im not getting my moneys worth im sure im entitled to say so..

I'm not being funny but you took the contract out knowing what you were getting if other networks are offering a much better deal why didn't you go with them?

I took this contract out a year ago when i had just started work there were only a handful that would accept me for credit. More importantly this isnt my contract its in my name and i pay for it but it is my sister that uses it and the phone. She chose the contract, i am trying to make sure i get my moneys worth.

So O2 accepted you for credit a year ago, and you've been paying this contract that someone else chose for that year without saying anything. Now you've seen that other networks are offering what you get for less, and you want O2 to renegotiate your contract because you feel you're not getting your money's worth. Are you serious?

This is a customer forum and there's no one here who can do anything for you. If you want to talk about crap, start with you beginning this thread. You're the one paying for the contract. You're the one who agreed to it. Bite the bullet and deal with it. You won't get it changed.

This is seriously the way you treat people coming here? Im not being funny but all i came here for was to see if there was anything that could be done and youve been nothing but rude to me? And as for not getting it changed if you had said that from the start rather than the sarcastic "Are you serious" comments we would have been done alot sooner.

The contract you took out isn't unreasonable. Your attitude about it is. If you think you're being treated unfairly because someone else on another network is getting what you are getting for less than what you're paying, call Customer Services on 202 and take it up with them.
