Solved: Unable to receive international texts

The boyfriend has recently gone over to the US and has got a new phone over there. He's tried to text me twice but non of the messages have come through. He used the +44 and 0044 prefixes but nothing has worked. I've texted him using the +1 prefix and he got both of my messages... Anyone got a clue why I can't receive his messages?

Ask him to send a text to a non-O2 number in the UK which if it fails will show it to be the USA network at fault.

It must be a problem with the network provider over in the USA, has he tried a different network?

I'm not sure, he got the phone today, but he sent one to his dads phone and he's on O2 too, he didn't get his text either...
