Hello, I'm currently on a pay as you go sim, but I would like to sign up for 12 months through a uswitch deal (40GB of data for £8 for 12 months), however when I get redirected to the o2 website from uswitch and select "Yes, I'm with O2 and want to upgrade my plan" option (alternative options are "No, I'm not with O2 and want to join (you can either keep your existing number or get a new one)." and "Yes, I'm with O2 and want to add an additional number to my account"), I get an error message saying " Unable to open My O2 You don’t currently have any connections or plans to manage. If you’ve recently submitted an order, your new connection will appear here once we’ve sent your device and/or sim and got everything set up.If you started an order but haven’t yet completed it, select ‘Shop now’ below to see our range of phones, tablets, sim only deals and more." I don't have any submitted orders and I've been trying to do it for the last 3 days. Can someone please advice? Thanks!

That is because you are a PAYG customer, you need to do it as a new customer and then contact o2 to migrate the number once the new account is setup. as otherwise you will need to speak to o2 and take one of there none uSwitch deals..

This guide has all the information you need Guide: Migration & porting into O2
