Hello,

A quick question.
I have an existing pay monthly account which i’ve had for some time so not a new contract.

I also have an O2 PAYG number.

Is it possible to transfer the PAYG phone number to my existing Pay Monthly account which i’ve had for a year or so?

if it is possible how do I do it?

many thanks

@RomeoFiveSix You will need to speak to customer service.
Call 202 from your contract mobile or 0344 809 0202, 0800 902 0217 or 0800 032 1402
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am.
You can also reach O2 via social media:

Thank you for your reply.

i will try your suggestions. I have already tweeted the official O2 account.

i believe transferring payg to pay monthly is ok.

what I wasn’t sure about is whether it can only be done with a new pay monthly or at any time during a contract.

@RomeoFiveSix This was the guide I was trying to find earlier, if it helps with your dilemma - Guide: Migration & porting into O2

It should work if you are willing to pay off the balance of your contract and then take a new contract (SIM Only would work) to move the PATG number to the new Contract. The old number in the contract phone would cease. Be interesting to know how you fare! Good luck!
