I have moved overseas and want to cancel my contract. The only way I can see to do it is to call O2 =- but the international contact number is always busy. And there's no email address to try. I need to cancel contract and unlock my iPhone so I can use with my new local mobile provider. Any help or advice gratefully received.

I am 99% certain you cannot unlock an O2 iPhone when it is out of the UK

1 As you are a contract customer just use the unlocking form here https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form as you are still an o2 customer you should have no issues (the issues arise when the contract has already been cancled)
2 on the contact us page there is the option to email instead of live chat use that form to email o2 from the website.
3 you could always write to o2 via normal post using the details on the contact us form.
