I’ve just had a text message off number +44 7979 711589 saying
O2:We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your payment information via: <Link Removed>
Been on my app and says it’s paid! So just making people aware

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and report it free to 7726.

Hi,
I've just received the exact same text message but from telephone number +44 7748 579850. My payment isn't due to be made for another 5 days. I tried to speak to someone at O2 about this suspected fraud, but the O2 voicemail just stated that no one could help me at the moment. This is obviously due to these diffcult times in which we find ourselves. Anyway, I persevered and came across this very helpful information, so thank you! I shall report my issue to 7726 as suggested.
