Switching providers need clarity

I am leaving o2 to join a different provider. My new sim card come through yesterday and so I requested a PAC number from o2 and followed my new providers proceadure. Once the number transfers over, will my current contract which is due to end tomorrow(21/04/20) end fully?

Yes as soon as you use the PAC @GingaMilla

@GingaMilla If you have a Direct Debit set up with O2, do not cancel it until you receive a final bill.
