Hello, hope someone can help here.

I have the o2 switch up which has been part of my contract package since I got the phone in September 2022. I haven’t yet used the switch up but I went to use it today and was told that I couldn’t as I had to swap my device within the first 90 days of taking out my contract back in September 2022. Can anyone confirm if this is actually the case. I feel like there’s been a miscommunication cause why would someone swap their device within the first 90 days of receiving the new iPhone?

Thanks in advance.

No, that's not how it works at all @cmason92 !

Guide: Introducing O2 Switch Up. Swap phones whenever you want!

Where did you try and complete the switch? Once we know, then @Dave-O2 can get in touch with the store and make sure they understand how it works...

O2 is dire these days and I'm just grateful that I've had no issues for quite a while

Even the process of changing to 360 has gone smoothly for me although the option to upgrade to miss the April grand theft has disappeared

Time to really wonder why I would want to stay with this network

@jonsie Why can't you upgrade? I'm 360 and still on for April

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I think the point @jonsie is making is that we could upgrade whenever we wanted to another simo tariff, even if we had just dome so. There was no need to wait until the 12 months was up.

This was a benefit of going to simo from a refresh device plan many years ago.

This is a significant and detrimental change to our T&C's and hope that @Dave-O2 can check this out for us please?
