Switch Up Return/Cancellation

If I've 'switched up' and upgraded to a new phone with a new 36month agreement am I allowed to cancel within 14 days completely? So the line gets cancelled and phone returned?

So effectively you can get out of a contract early by just switching up to a new phone and cancelling?

I believe so….. I asked the same question in store and they said yes….. switch up is effectively a new contract so your give the same consumer rights as if taking out a new contract

That is good news for me, looks like I will make use of that if O2 cant get my Volt sorted.. been ongoing for ages and get sent from person to person O2->virgin->O2 rince and repeate
