Hi, I have a sim only contract and I use the card in an old iPhone 5. I’ve been given an unlocked iPhone XR but the sim isn’t being accepted by the XR - do I need to get an updated SIM card please? Thanks, Angela

Both phones use a nano sim so yours should fit and work fine.

Are you sure the XR is a functional phone?

You can pop into any O2 store to get a new sim and they can check your phone at the same time to make sure it's working OK.

Thanks - it’s working with the internet etc - my brother gave it to me. It says that there aren’t any Sim restrictions - I’ll pop into a shop at the weekend. Thanks again
