Got a text that i thought was from O2. I clicked on the link (below) I was multi tasking at the time and have put in all card details and other confidential info unfortunately. I later realised it was a scam since I was actually not signed in to my O2 account and the text came from a private number

It's a well known scam.
Block the number and do not follow any links.
Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.
Other ways to report here including Action Fraud website

O2 never text from a mobile number.

You'll need to change your O2 password immediately and inform your bank too.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Change any bank account passwords as well, as they now have enough details to get these reset.

You need to contact your bank ASAP and tell them that your Debit Card and Bank Account Details have been compromised as you have been a vicitim of a text scam.

The bank may need to issue you with new bank account details and new debit card.
