I received a txt just now purporting to be from O2 to tell me my latest payment had failed due to my bank and to click a link to update them. My bill was taken, as it always is, from my bank account this morning with no problems whatsoever. I'm asking has anyone else had this? I've tried to contact O2 to report it but obviously it's difficult to get through at the moment.

Hi, I too had this text over the weekend and I stupidly entered my name, o2 login and contact details, then got suspicious and stopped before entering any bank details. I felt anxious about it again this morning (a couple of days since I entered the above details) and I have now blocked the number and changed my o2 password. However, I'm concerned I acted too slowly and am now wondering if there is anything else I can do to protect myself? (I will keep an eye on my o2 account and my bank account over the next few days).
