Solved: SIM card

Hi, I got a early upgrade yesterday in a o2 shop yesterday, I got the iPhone XR. However I asked that it’s okay to put my old SIM card into my new phone that was okay to do but when I put my old o2 SIM card into the new phone, it won’t read the o2 network but when I put it into my old phone the SIM card is reading the o2 network straight away. Can anyone help me with this?

Not sure why your old sim wont work.

However, you could call O2 and ask them to migrate your number across, or do a sim swap

Check you are putting the sim in the correct way up and if so, it sounds like the phone may be faulty, so I'd take it back for the store to check.
