Ring too short

Is there a way of prolonging the ringing period? By the time I have put my umbrella and bags down in the rain and fished the phone out of my pocket the call is 'missed'. It would be good also to have the loudspeaker on by default so that one can hear the caller even in the street, but I suppose that depends on the make of phone.

Enter this:

xx61x901x11x(number of seconds delay)#

then press Send.

Use multiples of 5 seconds, to a maximum of 30.

Loudspeaker cannot be on before you answer the call! wink

or you can type #61# SEND to cancel divert on no reply so you either answer it or they put the phone down, no voicemail will answer unless you're engaged or the phone is off/out of signal

Hello -

Many thanks, but if I enter 'x' I get '99' - I'm afraid I am a beginner
at mobile phones and the instructions themselves are incomprehensible -
they say 'Do this', whatever it is, but not how to do it.

Regards

It shouldn't be 'x' it should be '*'(star)

thus : **61*901*11*30# then press send as you would making a call.
30 is the number of seconds which you can enter in increments of 5 ie 05, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30. Above is for maximum of 30 seconds.
Hope this is a little clearer.
